• The stock Gen 2 4Runner has a top mounted rear view mirror, making it challenging to use a generic mirror. This mount allows for mounting a common windshield style mounted mirror. Pictures below show a generic mirror with Garage Door buttons as well as with a WolfBox G930 mirror.
• There are offset holes on the end of the mount to allow you to mount the mirror slightly to the left or right of center. This is done because the most rear view mirrors pivot toward the driver and may bump the sin visors. This offset helps to keep the mirror more centered when facing the driver.
• The mirror mounts have 1/4-20 tapped holes on both sides for additional mounting if needed and mounts directly to the overhead console. Because the mount is so rugged, the small cover plate around the original mirror mount may not fit.
Made from billet 3/4 inch aluminum stock, this plate increases the surface are 4 times, and with the addition of a sight glass, the fill plug no longer needs to be removed to check the fluid level.
